special characters in environment variable value

I have an exclamation mark (!) in the value of one of my environment variables. The system is converting this to a 2-character combination of "\!". Any thoughts on how to get around this?

Not an answer but I should note that I see the task log redisplays "\!" as "!" so it can be tricky to see.
Just add a bash script component that does a "echo $PASSWORD | hexdump -C" to see it.

Hi Brian,

Looks like this is a duplicate of the other ticket you opened. I’ll resolve this one and we can work the issue from the other case.

Best Regards,
Dave
