Weird "REST" API

I'm attempting to write an API configuration for a "REST" API that's asking for an HTTP POST in the following format:

<?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'?>
<call method="exportSheets" callerName="a string that identifies your client application">
<credentials login="sampleuser@company.com" password="my_pwd"/>
</call>

So, it seems almost like a SOAP call without the official SOAP envelope. Can this be done through the RSB script? Or should I just bite the bullet and write Python?

Hi Britton,

Thanks for reach out to support. This article, Authentication With API Profiles, details how to authenticate to a SOAP API.

Thanks,
Jason

Would this work if there's no SOAP envelope (<soapenv>) wrapping the request?
